Jackson County NAACP is bringing its fourth Black History Theater to Bryson City on Saturday, February, 20.
All Swain, Macon and Jackson County people are invited to attend the 10:45 am program, immediately following the 10:00 am February Membership Meeting. The event will be hosted by Morning Star Baptist Church at 56 Morning Star Drive. *
Attendees are invited to participate in the program which traces the history of African Americans in this country from their arrival on slave ships, through the first and second Reconstruction periods, ending with examples of black people whose contributions have built a bridge to the future.
