About the event
This special meeting will be a presentation and open conversation about a proposed initiative that honors the African American experience in Western NC. The goal is to create a process of coordinated programming and a public art strategy. The meeting is being convened by Marie T. Cochran, founder of the and the Jackson County NAACP.
